Shoulder Replacement

Osteoarthritis of the shoulder can slowly worsen over time resulting in significant pain, stiffness as well as catching and grinding. When conservative treatment such as NSAIDs, physical therapy and cortisone injections fails to reduce the symptoms a shoulder replacement is usually the next step in treatment. A newer technique for shoulder replacement offered at ISMI involves the use of a stemless design which is less invasive and more anatomic producing better results for the patient.
