Shoulder labrum tear

What is a shoulder labrum? This is a piece of cartilage in the shoulder that helps with stability. If a person dislocates their shoulder the labrum can tear resulting in recurrent dislocations (going completely out of socket), subluxations (partially going out of socket) and/or pain. After the labrum is repaired arthroscopically followed by physical therapy patients are able to get back to their sport with symptoms.
